Tareavion Mageo Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
Starting off the list is White Oak's Tareavion Mageo, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Friday Mageo rushed for 292 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 13.3 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 70-yard run.
The victory (which was White Oak's fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-1. Mageo and White Oak will be playing in front of their home fans against Dixon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Gulat Came Up Big in Dixon's 37-15 Victory
Dixon's three-game losing streak is now nothing but a memory thanks in part to JJ Gulat. Gulat was dynamite on Friday, rushing for 201 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.7 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 103 rushing yards.
For the season, Gulat has averaged 16.1 passing yards per game.

Tanner Payne's Big Game Can't Quite Lead West Carteret over White Oak
West Carteret had to settle for second on Friday, but Tanner Payne sure wasn't going down easily. Payne turned in nothing short of a gem, throwing for 403 yards and five touchdowns.
For the season, Payne has thrown 24 touchdowns while averaging 279.3 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 27.69 passer rating per game. This year he is averaging 92.01 passer rating.

Caleb Simco and Co. Win Seventh in a Row
Richlands picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Caleb Simco. Simco was dynamite, rushing for 230 yards on only nine carries, while also throwing for 117 yards on eight of 15 attempts. Those 230 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.
Richlands' victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0. Simco's next match is against West Carteret on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid performance.

Richlands Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to Semaj Thompson
Semaj Thompson's big game helped extend Richlands's winning streak to seven on Friday. Nobody could stop Thompson as he picked up five sacks and made 11 total tackles.
This year, Thompson has averaged 5.9 total tackles per game and for the season has 6.5 sacks. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had one sack.
