New Castle is 0-10 against New Palestine since October of 2016 but things could change on Friday. The Trojans will challenge the Dragons at 7:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

The Trojans' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led New Palestine over Shelbyville in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Dragons blew the Golden Bears out of the water with a 65-3 final score. New Castle better keep an eye on Jacob Davis. Davis' longest rush was for an impressive 66 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. New Castle's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 2-5. As for New Palestine, their record is now 7-0.
New Castle was dealt a bruising 44-6 defeat at the hands of New Palestine in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Dragons' Josh Ranes, who rushed for 137 yards and three TDs while picking up 8.1 yards per carry. Now that the Trojans know the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
