Baseball Recap: Sidney Comes Up Short

Sidney was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 13-6 to the Stanton Vikings. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, with their most recent defeat being a 12-6 loss on Thursday.

Sidney's record now sits at 2-11-1. As for Stanton, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-8 record this season.

Sidney didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 10-3 defeat against Griswold on the 1st. As for Stanton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 16-1 loss against Bedford on the 1st.
