Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Riverside). Everything went their way against the Gaffney Indians on Thursday as they made off with an 8-0 win. Considering Riverside have won eight contests by more than four goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Gaffney from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Lily Ziemer led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Riverside is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those six games. As for Gaffney, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-14.
