South Caldwell won the last time they faced Alexander Central and things went their way on Friday too. The South Caldwell Spartans took down the Alexander Central Cougars 63-47. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Spartans.

Despite the loss, Alexander Central still got an impressive performance from Jayon Connor, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 13 boards. Connor's evening made it 12 games in a row in which he has scored at least 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Koa Mikeal, who posted nine points.

South Caldwell's win bumped their record up to 15-6. As for Alexander Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-11 record this season.
