It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Hamilton ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Fayette County Tigers 5-4. The victory was nothing new for the Aggies as they're now sitting on four straight.
Molly Sandlin spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and two unearned) runs on 11 hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.
