Ayersville waltzed into their matchup on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Montpelier Locomotives. That's more bragging rights for the Pilots, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-10, 25-14.

Leading Ayersville to victory were Allison Eldridge and Ava Sigler. Eldridge had four digs and three aces, while Sigler had three digs and three aces. Eldridge is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 19 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Ayersville's win bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Montpelier, their defeat was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-12.
