It was a good run, but  Clear Springs unfortunately witnessed the end of their  13-match winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Deer Park Deer by a score of  3-2. The Chargers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Deer earlier this season, when they won  3-0.
 Clear Springs took Deer Park into a fifth set  but they suffered a heartbreaking two-point loss. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-19, 23-25, 24-26,  15-13.
 Despite the loss, Clear Springs still got an impressive performance from   Lianna Kearns, who  had 33  digs and six  assists. The team also got some help courtesy of  Aubree Svoboda, who  had 15  digs.
 Deer Park got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Emery Parham out in front who  had 12  digs. That's the most  digs  Parham has posted  over her last six  matchups.
Clear Springs'  defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 13-1 and their overall record down to 34-9. As for Deer Park, they pushed their record up to 23-16 with the  win, which was their seventh straight  at home.
 Clear Springs does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Deer Park, they will be playing at home against Stratford  at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
