Basketball Recap: Addison Comes Up Short

Addison came up into this matchup off a tough 27-point defeat last Wednesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Vandercook Lake Jayhawks by a score of 65-63 on Friday. The Panthers were probably out for revenge after losing 63-58 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

This is the second loss in a row for Addison and nudges their season record down to 3-9. As for Vandercook Lake, they moved to 3-8 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Addison has already played their next game (against East Jackson), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Vandercook Lake will challenge Grass Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Grass Lake will roll in looking for their 13th straight victory, something Vandercook Lake surely won't give up without a fight.
