Zeeland East fell 67-60 to Forest Hills Northern on Friday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did on Wednesday (59), Zeeland East still had to take the loss.
Several Chix players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Mirra Fenlon, who scored 18 points. That's the first time this season that Fenlon scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Lizzie Risdon, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Zeeland East's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Forest Hills Northern, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.
