Basketball Recap: Ethel Falls Short of Leake County in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Ethel can now relate to. They were dealt a 79-42 loss at the hands of the Leake County Gators on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Gators: they've now lost eight in a row.

Ethel's loss dropped their record down to 4-23. As for Leake County, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-9.

As of now, neither Ethel nor Leake County have any future games scheduled.
