Football Recap: Shadyside Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Shadyside had lost four straight on the road, but on Friday they dropped down to 2-8 to make it five. They were outmatched by the Monroe Central Seminoles and fell 54-0. The Tigers were not able to make up for their loss to the Seminoles from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Jayden Johnson threw for 51 yards on seven of 19 attempts.

As for Monroe Central, the win got them back to even at 5-5. Considering they have won four games by more than 21 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Arville Rutter had a dynamite game, rushing for 115 yards and three TDs on only 12 carries. Those 115 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Cooper Howell, who rushed for 47 yards.

As of now, neither Shadyside nor Monroe Central have any future games scheduled.
