Baseball Recap: Smoky Valley Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Smoky Valley's offense. They came up short against the Southeast of Saline Trojans on Thursday, falling 15-0. The Vikings were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Trojans earlier this season, when they won 8-5.

This is the second loss in a row for Smoky Valley and nudges their season record down to 3-12. As for Southeast of Saline, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Smoky Valley beat the Trojans by a score of 8-5 later that day.
