Flag Football Recap: Ringgold Takes a Loss

Ringgold entered their matchup against Dawson County on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Ringgold took a 19-12 hit to the loss column at the hands of Dawson County.

Ringgold's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Dawson County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.

Looking ahead, Ringgold will face off against North Paulding at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Wolfpack's defense has only allowed 10.2 points per game this season, so the Tigers' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Dawson County, they will square off against Gilmer at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Tigers 9.1, the Bobcats 14.9) so any points scored will be well earned.
