Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran hadn't done well against Seymour recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Blazers walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Thunder. The Blazers were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Thunder, so the Blazers were just returning the favor.

Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran's offense was headlined by Kiley Dhein and Sadie Czaja, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Olivia Kirchner and her 17 assists. Paige Loock and Kiera Adams-Mcintosh kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Despite the defeat, Seymour saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Kenlee Jansen had nine digs and one assist. That assist was Jansen's first of the season.

The win made it two in a row for Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran and bumps their season record up to 11-7. As for Seymour, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-12.

Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Oconto Falls on the 20th. As for Seymour, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Bonduel on the 20th.
