Basketball Recap: Bunceton Takes a Loss

Bunceton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 60-56 heartbreaker at the hands of Jamestown. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Dragons of the 48-36 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Bunceton's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Jamestown, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-7.

Looking ahead, Bunceton will take on New Bloomfield at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Jamestown, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 60-56 victory against Otterville on the 7th.
