Football Recap: Navarre Comes Up Short at Home Against Pensacola Catholic + How To Watch

Navarre unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a hard 42-27 fall against the Pensacola Catholic Crusaders on Friday. The Raiders were not able to make up for their loss to the Crusaders from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

Leading Pensacola Catholic to victory were Caden Jasso and Ethan Crandall. Jasso picked up 126 receiving yards and four scores, while Crandall rushed for 101 yards and one touchdown on only seven carries. Crandall got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 73 yards.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Navarre will venture away from home to face off against Choctawhatchee at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pensacola Catholic, they will head out to take on Pace at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
