Volleyball Recap: Sultan Takes a Loss

Sultan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the South Whidbey Falcons. The Turks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Sultan's loss dropped their record down to 1-6-1. As for South Whidbey, their win ended a six-match drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sultan will square off against Cascade at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for South Whidbey, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Northwest at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
