Jackson extended their winning streak to three on Friday, bumping their season record up to 17-6 in the process. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Lake Washington Kangaroos. For the Timberwolves, this counts as revenge for the 14-9 win the Kangaroos walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2023.

Drew Pepin spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on six hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Hawkeye Delgado was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double. Quinten Johns was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one triple and one RBI.

As for Lake Washington, their loss dropped their record down to 16-11. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.

On Lake Washington's side, Mason Smithwick was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. Furthermore, Smithwick didn't allow a single earned run, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in April.

On the hitting side, Lake Washington saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Boden Reeve, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI.

As of now, neither Jackson nor the Kangaroos have any future games scheduled.
