Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Whites Creek). They put the hurt on the Kenwood Knights with a sharp 15-6 victory on Wednesday.
Jayvin McGee made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He pitched four innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off four hits. McGee was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March of 2024.
In other batting news, Whites Creek let Johnathan Scales and Andnevin Huff run wild. Scales scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances, while Huff got on base in three of his four plate appearances with four RBI, one run, and one double.
