Baseball Recap: Raton Takes a Loss

Raton lost against Santa Rosa on April 1st, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tigers fell 8-3 to the Lions. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Chase Middlebrook made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Raton's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Santa Rosa, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 13-3.

Coming up, Raton will be playing at home against Tucumcari at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Rattlers have averaged an impressive 10 runs per game this season. As for Santa Rosa, they are taking a road trip to challenge Clayton at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
