Basketball Recap: Keenan Picks Up Sixth Straight Win on the Road

Keenan had won five straight road games dating back to last season and Antoine Caughman Jr did his part to make it six on Tuesday. The Keenan Raiders claimed a resounding 95-24 win over the Swansea Tigers thanks in part to Caughman Jr, who went 8 of 12 en route to 19 points in addition to seven assists and seven rebounds. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last eight games he's played.

Ja'Nolan Mathis was another key player, going 5 for 8 on his way to 15 points and five boards. Those five rebounds gave him a new career-high.

When it comes to explaining why Swansea lost, don't look at Zyshawn Jamison. Despite the final result, he posted nine points. That was a full 37.5% of Swansea's points, marking the fifth time in a row he's put up more than a third of the team's points.

Keenan now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Swansea, they are on a 35-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Keenan didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 67-38 victory against Silver Bluff on the 17th. As for Swansea, they will venture away from home to take on Fox Creek at 7:00 p.m. on January 24th. Fox Creek is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 61.1 points per game this season.
