Football Recap: Annapolis Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Annapolis's offense. They were beaten by the Thurston Eagles 51-0 on Friday. The loss leaves the Cougars still looking for their first win of the season.

Annapolis' defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Thurston, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Annapolis will welcome Robichaud at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs' defense has only allowed five points per game this season, so the Cougars' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Thurston, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Redford Union at 6:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Eagles 9.2, the Panthers 13) so any points scored will be well earned.
