Basketball Recap: Oaktree Academy Takes a Loss

Oaktree Academy lost against StoneBridge back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Oaktree Academy Grizzlies fell just short of the StoneBridge Cavaliers by a score of 34-32. The Grizzlies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead StoneBridge to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mikaylah Telfer, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 14 rebounds. That's the most boards Telfer has posted since back in February of 2024.

Oaktree Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for StoneBridge, their victory bumped their record up to 12-2.

Oaktree Academy has already played their next contest, a 49-34 loss against Atlantic Shores Christian on the 3rd. As for StoneBridge, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 43-23 win against Portsmouth Christian on the 31st.
