Soccer Recap: Rock Hill Takes a Loss

Rock Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 9-0 to the St. Joseph Central Flyers. While losing is never fun, Rock Hill can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 513th, while St. Joseph Central are ranked 155th).

Rock Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8-1. As for St. Joseph Central, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rock Hill will face off against Eastern at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for St. Joseph Central, they will square off against Western at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. St. Joseph Central will be up against Western's rather soft defense (which has allowed 7.2 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
