Volleyball Recap: Duchesne Takes a Loss

Duchesne lost against Fort Zumwalt North back in August of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Pioneers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Fort Zumwalt North to victory, but perhaps none more so than Colbie Hoffmann, who had 12 assists and two aces. That's the most aces Hoffmann has posted over her last six matches.

Duchesne's loss dropped their record down to 7-4-1. As for Fort Zumwalt North, their record is now 11-9-1.

Looking ahead, Duchesne will be playing in front of their home fans against Bowling Green at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Fort Zumwalt North, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Lutheran on the 4th.
