Basketball Recap: South Beauregard Comes Up Short

South Beauregard was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 72-48 to the St. Louis Catholic Saints. The Knights were not able to make up for their loss to the Saints from their previous meeting back in January of 2024.

South Beauregard's record now sits at 14-24. As for St. Louis Catholic, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 14-12.

Coming up, South Beauregard will take on Westlake at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Louis Catholic, they will host Jennings at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Jennings' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 14 games.
