Softball Recap: Lakeland's Luck Changes for the Better on Thursday

Lakeland's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They never let the Indian River Braves get on the board and left with an 11-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Cavaliers, who have now won three games by ten runs or more so far this season.

The win snapped Lakeland's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-5 record. As for Indian River, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Meanwhile, Indian River (ranked 249th) will meet Western Branch (ranked 21st) at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
