Volleyball Recap: Northeast's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Thursday

Northeast lost against Northside back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Raiders fell 2-0 to the Eagles. The Raiders' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

While Northeast was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-23.

Northeast's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Northside, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-10 record this season.

Coincidentally, Northeast and Northside will both be playing Dublin the next time they take the court. The Eagles will host the Fighting Irish at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Raiders will play them later in the day, at 5:30 p.m.
