Softball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln

Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victors by a 16-1 margin over the Wausau East Lumberjacks. The Red Raiders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lumberjacks, too.

Baylee Williams looked comfortable as she tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits.

On the hitting side, Annabelle Ross was a standout: she scored two runs while going 2-for-2. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in doubles (two). Another player making a difference was Sydney Holberg, who scored three runs while going 2-for-2.

Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Wausau East, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
