Baseball Recap: Mandeville Takes a Loss

Mandeville suffered their biggest loss since April 13, 2024 on Saturday. They lost 12-2 to the Sam Houston Broncos. The Skippers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Broncos earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Mandeville saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Peyton Gomez, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI. Brody Hatchett also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Mandeville's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Sam Houston, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.

While Mandeville had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
