Volleyball Recap: Altamont Comes Up Short

Altamont lost against North Clay back in October of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Indians fell 2-0 to the Cardinals. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Altamont was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-21.

Bella Hollinshead paced Altamont's offense, picking up five kills. Hollinshead got some help from Avery Fleeharty and her nine assists.

Altamont's loss dropped their record down to 2-6-2. As for North Clay, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Altamont will face off against rival Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, North Clay is set to challenge their familiar foe Neoga at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
