Basketball Recap: Ashland Comes Up Short

Ashland lost against Pine Grove last Monday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Ashland Blue Devils took a 64-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pine Grove Panthers.

Ashland's defeat dropped their record down to 10-17. As for Pine Grove, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season.

Coming up, Ashland is taking a road trip to challenge Coffeeville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Coffeeville will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Ashland surely won't give up without a fight. As for Pine Grove, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 58-45 loss against Falkner on the 7th.
