The Elyria Catholic Panthers won the last time they faced the Westlake Demons, and things went their way on Friday too. Elyria Catholic came out on top against Westlake by a score of 59-48. The win made it back-to-back wins for Elyria Catholic.

Isabelle Niederst continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 30 points and 12 rebounds. Elyria Catholic has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for Westlake, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5.

Elyria Catholic will be playing at home against Smithville at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Smithville is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games. Westlake's road trip will continue as they head out to face North Olmsted at 7:00 p.m. on January 10th. Hopefully North Olmsted focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 26 last Saturday.
