Baseball Recap: Asheville Christian Academy Takes a Loss

After soaring to 14 runs the game before, Asheville Christian Academy was a bit more limited in their contest on Monday. They came up short against Hickory Grove Christian, falling 10-2. Asheville Christian Academy was not able to make up for their loss to Hickory Grove Christian from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Asheville Christian Academy now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Hickory Grove Christian, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.

Looking ahead, Asheville Christian Academy will challenge Rabun Gap-Nacoochee at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Rabun Gap-Nacoochee's pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so Asheville Christian Academy's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Hickory Grove Christian, they will take on A.C. Reynolds at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hickory Grove Christian is facing A.C. Reynolds at the right time seeing as A.C. Reynolds is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
