Washington hadn't done well against GlenOak recently (they were 0-6 in their previous six matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Washington Tigers blew past the GlenOak Golden Eagles, posting a 66-33 win. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 22 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Delaney Pierce, who posted 20 points along with ten assists and ten rebounds. Pierce is crushing it when it comes to boards: she's pulled down at least ten every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was La Nia Moore, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 13 rebounds.

Pierce wasn't the only one working in the assists department: Washington was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in three consecutive contests.

Washington pushed their record up to 13-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.6 points per game. As for GlenOak, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Washington will take on Lake at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Washington has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. GlenOak has already played their next match (against Perry), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
