Jakoby Dixon's Big Game Leads Brenham over Belton
Starting off the list is Brenham's Jakoby Dixon, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Dixon rushed for 234 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.8 yards per carry, and also picked up 40 receiving yards. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 83-yard run.
The win was the fifth in a row for Brenham, bringing their record for this year to 9-1. Dixon and Brenham will take on Texas City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

A Season-Best Effort from Joseph Fowlkes Iv Leads Ellison over University
Sadly, Joseph Fowlkes Iv posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Ellison over University on Friday. Fowlkes Iv picked up 83 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 30 yards. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in October of 2023. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up a sack and making nine total tackles.
