Volleyball Recap: Cherokee Comes Up Short

Cherokee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Brentwood Bruins.

Cherokee's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Brentwood, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

Coincidentally, Cherokee and Brentwood will both be playing Alexandria the next time they take the court. The Warriors will host the Valley Cubs at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, while the Bruins will play them later in the day, at 11:30 a.m.
