Baseball Recap: Argyle Comes Up Short

Argyle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 14-2 to the Hadley Luzerne Eagles. If the Scots were looking for revenge after losing 8-0 to the Eagles when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Argyle's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Hadley Luzerne, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4-1 record this season.

Coincidentally, Argyle and Hadley Luzerne will both be playing Fort Ann the next time they take the field. The Scots will host the Cardinals at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Eagles will host them at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
