Baseball Recap: Whittier RVT Takes a Loss

Whittier RVT was the 6-3 winner over Haverhill when they last played one another back in June of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildcats took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hillies on Thursday. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Whittier RVT saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caleb Vicente, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Whittier RVT's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Haverhill, they pushed their record up to 7-13 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Whittier RVT will head out to take on Bristol-Plymouth RVT at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Craftsmen will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight. Haverhill does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
