Football Recap: Clearview's Win Ends Seven-Game Losing Streak at Home

Clearview won the last time they faced Brookside and Kameron Williams did his part to make sure it happened again. The Clippers took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 41-6 victory over the Cardinals thanks in part to Williams, who rushed for 107 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries, and also threw for 104 yards and one TD. He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack, forced one fumble, and made eight total tackles (3.0 for loss).

Another player making a difference was Christian Stevenson, who rushed for 88 yards and one score. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 66 yards.

Clearview's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB three times. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Williams, Montez Sanchez-Miller, and Anthony Lachman, who each picked up one sack apiece.

Clearview's win ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-5. As for Brookside, their loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-7.
