Softball Preview: Oroville Tigers vs. Gridley Bulldogs
Oroville is 2-8 against Gridley since May of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Tigers will head out to take on the Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m.
Oroville is headed into Wednesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their seventh straight game on Tuesday. They came up short against Live Oak, falling 8-2.
Oroville saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ellie McDonald, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Another was Jenessa Igot, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.
Meanwhile, Gridley entered their tilt with Corning on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Cardinals a 12-0 shutout.
