Basketball Game Preview: Toledo Indians vs. Rainier Mountaineers

The Toledo Indians will face off against the Rainier Mountaineers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Rainier will be up against a hot Toledo squad: the team just extended their winning streak to four. Toledo strolled past Toutle Lake with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 55-37. Given the Indians' advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 86th, while the Ducks are ranked 341st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Rainier blew past Winlock, posting a 70-32 victory. The Mountaineers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 20 points or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Rainier and bumps their season record up to 12-7. As for Toledo, they pushed their record up to 17-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.
