Soccer Game Preview: Stranahan vs. Northeast

Stranahan hasn't had much luck against Northeast recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Mighty Dragons will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on the Hurricanes at 4:00 p.m.

Stranahan fell victim to Western and their airtight defense on Thursday. They came up short against the Wildcats, falling 4-0.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northeast). Their defense stepped up to hand Blanche Ely a 5-0 shutout on Thursday. The high-scoring effort was just what Northeast needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

They hit Blanche Ely with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Yasmin Ramirez Ulloa (2), Kateryn Guerra, Emeli Veliz, and Andrea Maza.

Stranahan's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Northeast, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.
