Volleyball Recap: Trinity Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Charlee Phillips and Avalynn Johnson + How To Watch

After flying high against Thomasville on Tuesday, Trinity came back down to earth. The Bulldogs lost 3-0 to the West Davidson Dragons on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Dragons: they've now lost three in a row.

Trinity's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Avalynn Johnson, who had 27 assists and ten digs, and Charlee Phillips, who had 11 digs. Johnson has been hot for a while, having posted 14 or more assists the last 41 times she's played.

Cheyenne Hedrick was the offensive standout of the match as she had 12 digs and four assists.

Trinity's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 6-10. As for West Davidson, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-6.
