Tri-Valley recap Nov. 7, 2012
Williams Valley extended the longest winning streak in Tri-Valley this week by beating East Juniata, 41-0. The victory was the 10th in a row for the team.
Millersburg's dynamic duo of Travis Lamereaux and Ethan Troutman proved tough for Upper Dauphin Area to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Lamereaux threw for 53 yards and one touchdown and Troutman had 53 yards receiving. Alex Frederick helped Millersburg's passing attack out by catching one ball for 17 yards.
Blake Bowman was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 31 carries, he ran for 269 yards as Tri-Valley topped the Trojans. Dalton Miller also contributed to the rushing game with 86 yards on the ground.
Williams Valley's Stephen Sedesse and Owen Daniel have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Sedesse has thrown for 1436 yards this season, while Daniel, a 6-foot-1 receiver, has 40 catches for 804 yards. The Bulldogs' Bowman leads the league in rushing yards with 1958.
Miller has rushed for 992 yards on 190 carries so far this year.
Juniata led Tri-Valley in scoring this week after putting up 71 points on Pine Grove. Neil Bodley threw for 24 yards and one touchdown and ran for 137 yards in the win.
