Baseball Recap: Big Rapids Takes a Loss

Big Rapids couldn't beat Grant on Wednesday even though they stacked six runs on them in the fourth inning. The Cardinals fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 8-7. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, with their most recent loss being a 6-3 defeat on Monday.

This is the second loss in a row for Big Rapids and nudges their season record down to 10-10. As for Grant, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-9.

Looking ahead, Big Rapids will welcome Petoskey at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Grant, they will head out to square off against Hesperia at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
