Baseball Recap: Brush Arcs vs. Revere Minutemen

Brush was handed a seven-run loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 victory over the Revere Minutemen. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Arcs have posted since April 21st.

Owen Thompson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered four earned runs on nine hits and racked up 11 Ks.

On the hitting side, Keith Feagin, Jr. was incredible, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Brush is 2-1 when Feagin, Jr. posts two or more stolen bases, but 4-9 otherwise. Isaac Sypniewski also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Brush's victory bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Revere, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-10.
