Richland County is 8-2 against Robinson since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Tigers will look to defend their home field against the Maroons at 7:00 p.m. Richland County will come into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.

On Friday, in a tight matchup that could have gone either way, Richland County made off with a 28-27 win over Casey-Westfield. Those 28 points were actually the fewest the Tigers have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Robinson and Paris meet (five straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Friday. The Maroons lost 41-18 to the Tigers.

Richland County will have to contain Reese Johnson as he made an impact in Robinson's last game. He rushed for 110 yards and one score, and also threw for 236 yards and one touchdown. Johnson's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 110 rushing yards. Robinson's leading receiver AJ Knoblett was Johnson's top target yet again, picking up 147 receiving yards and one TD.

Richland County's victory bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Robinson, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

Richland County took their win against Robinson in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 50-27 score. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Maroons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
