Volleyball Recap: Steubenville Takes a Loss

Steubenville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Tri-Valley Scotties.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-14, 25-17.

Gracie Olinger was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 13 digs and two aces. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last four times she's played.

Steubenville now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Tri-Valley, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season.

Steubenville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Tri-Valley, after both having extra time off, they and Dover will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
